Potable Water Tank Coating and Restoration

Regulations 27 to 29 of the Water Supply (Waste Quality) Scotland Regulations 2001 provide for the approval of substances, products and processes used in the provision of public water supplies.
Approvals issued by the Scottish Executive are recognised throughout the UK and in many other parts of the world.
Applications are considered for all construction products used in contact with water processes, water supply pipelines and drinking and raw water storage installations.
The material available through SureStar Technology is based on a flexible elastomeric 2-pack polyurethane. Spray application is by hot airless plural component equipment or by brush or roller for smaller area. The products is applicable to steel and concrete and GRP substrates. It has DWI and WRC approval and a successful 20 year track record.
This product is also suitable for sewage, sludge and waste water treatment tanks including channels and weirs and for concrete restoration and repair.
